setting sail (again) February 09 - 17, 2012

The Chaos Bay Yacht Club is anywhere, everywhere, and nowhere in particular. It does not yet exist in any spatiotemporal sense (that is, we do not yet have facilities to call our own), but it definitely exists in the minds and memories of those who have had and will have the pleasure of sailing in the British Virgin Islands.

It is more a state of mind than anything else and so defies adequate categorization. Here's the thing... yo
u know it when you've arrived there.

We are of a Brotherhood of Men:
Intrepid sailors, adventurers, and risk-takers who willingly commit our lives, fortunes, and our sacred honor to the pursuit of a great bottle of rum and a puff of wind with which to tack.

"For the truth is that I already know as much about my fate as I need to know. The day will come when I will die. So the only matter of consequence before me is what I will do with my allotted time. I can remain on shore, paralyzed with fear, or I
can raise my sails and dip and soar in the breeze."

- Richard Bode, First You Have to Row A Little Boat
